A new trailer was just released for Treyarch?s <em>Call of Duty: Black Ops </em>and it includes a wealth of new information surrounding the game. Up until now we haven?t had much in-game footage, but today marks the end of that drought.

There seems to be a lot that?s been taken from Infinity Ward?s <em>Modern Warfare 2</em> as well as new additions to the series, including a new theater mode (yes!), and new weapons such as a crossbow and remote controllable car that explodes on impact (kill streak most likely).

The video also revealed that a ?full multiplayer reveal? will occur on September 1st, just under a month from now[...]

That got me excited.

I had my doubts about this game, but that got me excited. It's probably because it's something new, but if this game doesn't have many glitches around launch, I can see me playing this alot.

I am real excited about theater mode.
Hopefully you can upload it online, or save to a usb and upload or something, that would be epic, wouldn't need a capture card no more.

Check @00:37 - look at the air/drop-shot! Player at the right runs and dives flat on his belly in air.
@01:06 - Enemy taking slug to the head, with an unknown Sniper Rifle (some help please?)

I cant wait for this, i kinda missed the MW2 thing when it was first out - pleased i'm not going to miss this. Let's just hope the multi-player lives up to expectation. I wonder sometimes if the multi player is more important than the actual game.

Let's face it the plot lines are always a bit ropey with the modern warfare's. World at War was not bad though.

What? I thought WaW had no story whatsoever. Each mission felt like I was deployed, kill people, move on to the next one, didn't even feel like it had a story at all. I just played the game and before I knew it, I was placing a flag on a building for victory.

Anyways, Call of Duty is a multiplayer game now.

Well, they do all play out like that but i felt that the story in WaW had a bit more substance, more than the MW's at least.

Not really, if anything the MW series has felt like there's been a real story attached to it. Regardless, I agree with Robby, CoD multiplayer is where it's been at since MW.

It looks fun. After the whole MW2 debacle I'm a bit hesitant tp buy it but the core gameplay looks fun. Then again, it did with MW2 as well and it's easy to see how that turned out.
