There's no question the PS Vita packs some serious hardware grunt, but how will it stack up a year or two down the road, given the rapid rate at which smartphones are advancing? Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli feels this a significant hurdle Sony faces, further noting his concern that it may already be too late.
"The Vita is an absolutely fantastic platform but it will have a hard time, and it might be too late," Yerli told Develop.
"I love Sony as a company, and we have great relations with them, but the Vita is going to have a hard time against the next generation mobiles and all the tablets."
