It goes without saying that Diablo 3 has endured a rocky launch thus far, but despite all the cries from fans over server outages and the lack of an 'offline' mode, the title has been a huge boon financially for Blizzard. The company announced today that over 3.5 million copies were sold on day one, making it the fastest-selling PC effort to date.
