E3 2007: Silent Hill Origins

Konami releases a new batch of impressive screenshots from Silent Hill Origins. Due out for the PSP this November, Origins follows the story of Travis O' Grady, a lone truck driver who suddenly finds himself lost in the mysterious and gritty town of Silent Hill.

It's surprising that survival horror is still a untapped genre on PSP. With the PSP's large screen size and multimedia capabilities, you'd think more companies (cough, Capcom, cough) would bring their horror franchises over to the portable.

Oooo I should preorder it. The the Sony Press Conference say it was going to be released this year?
I too love the Silent Hill games.

I'm all for seeing a Silent Hill game on the PSP as long as it's a step up from part 4. A big part of what makes the series work is that it wasn't based around combat, but part 4 seemed to focus on it.

I just played this on my psp a while ago the first one I mean for psp and it creeped me **** out. I heard some scary noises then some like dead things with knives were after me. It's just the kinda game thats fun. One that suprises you keeps me interested. To bad I kept dieing and gave up:crying:
