Error 80023102 When trying to buy COD5 map pack

Well, i'm completely new to everything about using a credit card to buy things online. It accepted the credit card information fine, but when i try to buy something it keeps giving me that same error message ^^^ (the one above).
I tried just to add funds on its own, but it says Can't add funds into wallet:cry:
Any help would be grateful.
p.s i've read that the store is having problems, is this true? I've tried to download Crash Bandicoot as well, same error message comes up.
 
From everything I've read online, it may just be a temporary thing. You can actually call up Sony support with that code and they should be able to help you. I had to call once when I kept getting signed out of PSN non-stop.
 
I just bought the mappack right now and it worked fine for me :cool:

Sometimes you just gotta be patient, i think you should wait about 20 mins
 
I got the map pack on friday, everything worked fine. Though i didnt have sufficient funds originally and i remember getting a similar message.
 
I was getting the same error, and I kept timing out of the store, its really bad. But I managed to keep trying, and get in there to buy it and have it download.

Is it a pre-paid debit card or an actual credit card? I don't know if the pre-paid things work on the PSN store since they aren't tied to a billing address. I'm sure someone here knows the answer though.
 
No, it has nothing to do with your payment, trust me, I was having connection issues, that was the problem. It has something to do with your connection to them, at least I think. I logged into my Japan and EU accounts, both gave me the error shortly after.

You can use pre paid credit cards.
 
They do have them, thats what me and my brother used to buy this.

Its not the payment method, its an error connecting to the store.
