Here's a PS3 style gameboot. Its the same thing that appears on the PS3, except without the "3" at the end.

I've included an opening_plugin.rco for 5.00 which has the PSP branding logo removed.

opening_plugin.rco compatible with 5.50

The "Universe of Entertainment" Playstation logo is similar, with some kind of watery effect instead of the reflection. I wish Sony had made it longer so we could see more of the wavy text.

I haven't a clue how to make those kind of effects in Premiere Pro...

The Sony UMD Tools and a video editor like Virtual Dub. Use google for the UMD tools, as we can't link them.

Just FYI, I the 5.00 and 5.50 opening_plugin.rco are identical so you can safely flash this on 5.50GEN too.

I don't know about 5.03, but on previous firmware uncompressed/modified RCOs worked on official firmware. They are only compressed and not encrypted nor signchecked.
