How to create custom PSP boot screen?

Hi all,

I wanted to create a custom welcome screen.

Originally, I thought a gameboot was the one, but after creating it, i realized it was the welcome screen for games.

I want to make one for the welcome screen when you first turn on the PSP.



Can anyone tell me what is it called or how can I do it?

It's the IPL of the PSP. You can't until it is cracked

u mean a coldboot? u can but it would brick your psp.

Yeah it might brick but then again, custom gameboots don't cause bricks on OFW. I don't think anyone's tried a custom coldboot yet

I created a coldboot which is loaded via a plugin. (PSP Fat/Silm)

No need to flash, but needs magicgate memory stick.
