If your getting the device for homebrew, definatly get the iTouch. Trust me, the battery life on the iPhone is awful because its running cell phone functions at the same time. Whereas it lasts alot longer on the iTouch. If you dont need the phone functions, get a iTouch.

Disable the phone features of your phone? Thats pretty stupid, especially if its your main source of communication.

They aren't permanently disabled - they can b turned on and off at any time you want.
