PSV Kaz Hirai Says PS Vita Sales Are on the 'Low End' of Sony's Expectations

Sony CEO and President Kaz Hiarai recently addressed sales of the Vita. While he didn't give out specific numbers, he did mention that figures were on the "low end" of what Sony was expecting. Hirai also pointed out that he expects that to change with time. "I would say it’s on the low end of what we expected," said the Sony president in a statement to the Wall Street Journal.

I still don't know if the PS3 is considered a success compared to the 360. I think they failed. I was just about to spring for the PS Vita but since Project Shield's announcement I no longer want to use a castrated locked down "PDA" like the PS Vita when Android will do everything better except for Sony exclusives.
