I've been looking forward to this game since the first day I read about it. I actually thought that they should've come out with a LOTR version of Battlefront while I was playing Battlefront.


Too bad it comes out in January. Hopefully it'll be good, it really has potential.

January is only next month.
 
Demo is up on the PlayStation Store. (Thanks for the message Sinful)

Single player lets you go through the training where you can learn the four classes. It also has an online multiplayer portion where you capture control points. You need an EA ID for the online part.

Very fun.
 
ah I hate those EA ID's. I've probably created at least 5 different ones on different occasions. I always forget what it is so I end up creating another account
 
Is the Demo out in Europe?
I won't be getting this game for a few months after release (unless it's on PC, PC games are always cheaper here), but I've loved Battlefront from start to finish, and the PSP port of Battlefront 2 was brilliant (Renegade Squadron.. not so much). Seeing the Battlefront elements being implemented in a new, interesting environment is something I'm really looking forward to.
 
Is a 360 demo out yet? From what I've seen after a basic google search, it's not.

It's pretty much SW: Battlefront but with LOTR, right?

I haven't seen that trailer. Hmm I'm going to stop procrastinating and download the demo.
 
I've been waiting for this game for ages, can't wait until release. the EA ID thing kinda sucks though, but i reckon that this could potentially be one of the best games of '09

This released today didn't it? If someone has the time, can you paste and spoil a review for me? So many gaming websites are blocked here at work now.
