Their forum system is tied to their game distribution system. If you are banned on either of the two then you are banned on the other one. Thus players who have been banned on the forums for one reason or another cannot play their Origin games anymore as a result. No refund is given

To be fair, if they handed out refunds when users were banned then I could see a lot of users abusing that system and intentionally trolling the forums after beating their games.
