The Legend of Zelda could potentially see DLC in the future. Speaking with Nintendo Life, series producer Eiji Aonuma expressed interest in releasing add-on content for the series somewhere down the road. According to the developer, this DLC would need to enhance the experience for players and deliver something worthwhile, especially if consumers are going to be asked to pay for new content.
"We're certainly looking at different ways to add on content that would enhance the experience for the user — maybe more places to explore or just to enrich the experience beyond what is on the disc," explained Aonuma.
