I'd love for Nintendo to reveal an achievement system. Lack of achievements is the main reason I never got a Switch. But I'm not holding my breath.
Can't really call achievements anything other than achievements or maybe challenges? (Trophies is kind of a PS only thing.)

I would love to see Nintendo do an official global system-wide achievement system. My concern is they will have an 'optional' one that few developers will support or will just do like some of their mobile games where they have level up achievements. I have little faith they will implement one or even do it correctly.
Thankfully, RetroAchievements exists and does what Nintendont.
