Pandora's Battery questions

If I have a PSP Phat 1001 running firmware 5.50, and I have a pandora's battery and magic memory stick, is it still possible to utilize these tools to downgrade my PSP back down to 1.50? Or do I have to be running custom firmware already? Or, under the worst circumstances, is it utterly impossible to downgrade from 5.50 at this point in time?

if you have a PSP phat you can downgrade from any firmware with the pandora

Unsure why you would want to go back to 1.50 as it is not required with pandora.

Are there still some around? Most things have been ported now and if not then the timemachine can do the rest
