Perma-Lock Threads

I know this suggestion seems "far fetched", but its about locking threads permanently.

In the future, this site will grow alot bigger, and that means more users. Well, with a lot more users around,the chances of one of them being a flamer is higher. So if there is ever a flamewar, the thread can be "Perma-Locked."

And the idea of "Perma-Lock" is to lock forever the threads that are seriously out-of-control, and once that thread is "Perma-Locked", nobody except the Administrator can reopen it.

I want to hear everyones feedback on this. Thanks.

I don't get it?

If a thread breaks the rules it gets locked. We don't lock it with a view to opening it again.
