Yeah I think I'm going to OC a little bit. I'm not too comfortable with it but from what I've read it's fairly easy with a sandybridge processor. I don't plan on doing anything major but maybe 3.3 to 3.5-8, then when I buy an aftermarket cooler later on I'll go a little over 4.0.

Well IIRC the thermal limit on Sandy Bridge is similar to X58 , so you shouldn't be in too much trouble as long as you don't hit above 80-100c.

I could be wrong, but that's what I think it is.

I've got a prolimatech Megahalems + 2X2000RPM Cooler master Fans and stress testing the CPU the most it goes is a bit above 74 on the hottest core. (at my current 4.18 Ghz)
That was using Linpack in OCCT.
In daily usage I never see it go over 50/60'ish
it idles between 33c-40c depending on ambient temps.

And from what I hear sandy bridge stays cooler way better than X58 so you'd probably see even better results with higher clocks like this
