Of course it looks cleaner(And nicer as a result)
I honestly didn't mind the sub 720p all that much other than the Aliasing and pixel crawl on high contrast edges.

I'll wait until the whole thing has been fully tested and free of any possible bugs before I decide to use it. I'm not interested in being a tester rather than just enjoying the game.

Haven't really noticed any issues here. I turned off the HUD in my shots but otherwise the text displays fine. Just have to make sure to a multiple (1.5x or 2x) of your resolution for the internal res. I'm using 3840x2400.

What about 1.75 or some other integer?
For example, The highest I can get playable in most games is 2732x1536. Which is ~1.7x1.7 of my desktop monitor

Not recommended as it might cause issues with the aspect ratio, though I haven't tried it. 3840x2400 is 1.5x my desktop res (2560x1600).

Well 2732x1536 =1.77864 Aspect Ratio which is 16:9 if you round
My monitor resolution is 1600x900= 1.777777778

So yeah, I guess the minute differences could cause an issue.

I just calculated a very close resolution that is perfect
2736x1539=1.777777778

1.71x1.71

Nah just downsampling. I've got an AMD card - so far haven't come across a way to enable AA.

Wish I could enable SSAO Seems like I'll be going back to Nvidia next card I buy... AMD kind of dropped the ball on drivers for the HD7xxx series.

Well, Drivers for the 6XX cards from Nvidia have been a clusterfuck as well.
Forums have been down for over 2 months.

I'm hoping there will be a 7XX series without the issues and "Features" of the 6xx such as "Power Boost" yuck.

Black Mesa. Game is awesome from what I played so far, won't be able to get back into it until next week because my house flooded today and it's going to take 3-5 days to clean up >_> Luckily damage was minimal.

Nice shots I love how clean the Source engine looks with SSAA.

Yeah, it does look fantastic! People say source is old and whatnot. But it still manages to look amazing, especially the real time shadows in L4D2. They are the best i've seen outside of the CryEngine 2/3.
