That looks really, really nice
This. It's sexy as hell. I agree with Hardrive though, get a new monitor if you can.

ermm...How much did you dish out for that new system Grey? My roomate is going to want to get a desktop computer by the end of the summer so I'm either going to build him one or build myself one and sell him my current one for cheap
ermm...
Processor: $200 (Microcenter)
RAM: $100
Graphics Card: $200 (already had it)
Motherboard: $200
Power Supply: $50 (already had it)
Hard Drive: $70 (already had it)
Case: $100
Disk Drive: ? (came with old computer, using it until Newegg gets the black one I wanted back in stock)
I think that's everything :\
LIan-li Full Tower
q9550 @ 3.5ghz now will be going for 4Ghz at some point (Should be able to get 3.8 atleast though)
4Gb g-skill DDR2 1000mhz
2x80GB Raptors in Raid0, 320GB storage, and 160GB for games
2x HD4870 512MB
DFI Lanparty Dark X48 Mother Board
X-fi Extreme Music
Corsair hk 1000w (probably not needed but its rock solid)
Nice case. I was looking some of the Lian-li offerings but ended up going with the Antec for budget reasons mostly.
Frozen, just out of curiosity, how much faster would you gauge your current build over your old one? I'm just wondering how much a step forward i7 is over Core 2.
It's hard for me to say, I haven't converted any videos recently to really notice a difference (that's really only when I will notice the difference). Games framerates are improved by maybe one or two compared to a similar clocked core 2 quad if I recall correctly.I went i7 for the new architecture (DDR3 memory) and the overclockablity of it.
