I HAVE 1.50 FW I HAVE DOWNLOADED & PUT ALL FILES AS U MENTIONED , BUT I GET CORRUPTED DATA & 3.40 UPDATE MAKER WHEN I OPEN GAME . wHEN I RUM THAT UPDATE MAKER IT IS RUNNING FOR 1HR & STILL IN EXTRACTING & PACKING 3.40 , I HAVE TO REMOVE MEMORY STICK TO CLOSE IT . PLS HELP

it's normal if you get a corrupted data in the games. so dont worry.

your PSP crashed when it's extracting 340.PBP.
make sure the size of 150.PBP and 340.PBP are the same as bellow:
150.PBP : 13,900,225 bytes
340.PBP : 22,048,510 bytes
i'm assuming that you have a corrupted 340.PBP. try downloading it again or download any 3.40 offical update eboot and rename it into 340.PBP.

Also, refer to this thread HEREand check if you have a fake memory stick.

Region doesn't matter.

From the sound of it you have a slow memory stick, possibly fake. Try formatting it and copy the files back over again.
 
I am having the same problem with my 1.50 update when i put it in the correct folde rand go to check it out i see the 3.40 updatemaker but not the 1.50 it keeps saying corrupted =(
