It's been more than a month since the last firmware update for PS Vita, and wouldn't you know it - Sony is following that up with yet another maintenance update -- firmware 2.06. The official word from Sony via Twitter is that it'll "improve system software stability for some features." An exact timeframe for the release wasn't given, though we'd expect it either tonight or later tomorrow.
No word yet on if it's a mandatory update, though we'll find out soon enough.
