yabasic homebrew is extremely limited. There's a reason it didn't catch on on the PS2. And IIRC the disc wasn't even supplied with the slimline.

That would explain why the psp port has such low download numbers.
When was yabasic made. is it like ps2's version of lua except official.
 
I don't think this is the kind of homebrew we're expecting. The fact it's using the PS2 backward compatibility means it's using the EE not the CELL for homebrew. Plus, the majority of units are the 40GB or 80GB without backwards compatibility.

I just realised yabasic is almost the same as basic and freebasic.

But with swap magic you can still use ps2 homebrew. Can anything good come of that.
