Just because he doesn't spend 24/7 on coding for the PSP doesn't mean Sony bribed them... Even developers have other things to do. And there's enough developers out there capable of doing this, but they simply haven't done so out of respect for M33, Sony and Davee.
 
Yes I have seen that on the net that Dark Alex was payed off by sony to stop working on the PSP but there not facts to it so just a rumor for now but I would not doubt it.
 
Well it does seem likely though.I know for fact that if SONY sees that someone is constantly hacking their consoles they sometimes ask that person to work for them.

suing him would make him a martyr in the psp community. maybe that would unite all the divided developers.

if DA has no use of the 3k kernel, he should donate it to other devs out there.
 
Suing D_A would do no good. His country doesn't follow the same copyright laws we do here in the USA. Plus he has done nothing illegal. He does not modify their program in anyway. It's all done in RAM.

Only thing they can do is ask him to work for them, which he already stated he will not do.

He's taking a damn break, giving the community the opportunity to do this without him. So far they have done a good job.

lol. history repeats itself. sound like one of the intel engineers took a vacation and went to work for amd. then he quit his job at intel. very nice transition though but phailed.
 
LOL but I'm sure D_A is still working, or at least has found out the way to do it. But he just simply doesn't wanna reveal it as he wanted other devs to complete the project which they'd started

he hasn't done much but stall the psp dev community... think of miriam when she release a video proof of concept. then DA hasnt contribute anything but kept all to himself. i bet sony gave him a nice stfu fee. yea, he will wait till his stfu fee depleted before returning to psp dev scene.
 
Nah, I think no credible dev is working on it, even xeno and becus is not working on it, they are just updating the CFWenabler for the psp2k and not thinking of the 3k users. :cry:

It's gone down the drain after some fakes and I'm pretty sure the dev.s of the CFWE for 2k are just attempting to update their CFWE for 2k,not 3k
 
dont count on it that there will be ISO loader for psp3k :)...
 
indeed! but the question is when will the 3k have cfw and an iso loader!
by the way! dax released a cfwEnabler v2.50, BUT it is'n fot psp 3k yet
