PSP PSP Custom Firmware 5.00 M33

I have 5.02 GEn-A. I want to update my psp to the m33-6 but I don't know which of this two is the fastest but someone can help me and tell me which its the better and how to upgrade if necessary?

What model psp do you have? 3000?
 
Can you please help me....I recently upgraded my firmware from 3.71 M33-2 to 5.00 M33-2. The upgrade went on smoothly but when I tried to select games menu, it hangs up and shuts down automatically. What seems to be the problem and what can I do to solve it?
