Rumor: Star Ocean 4 To Hit Xbox 360

A well-known Japanese job listing site has revealed an inquiry from an unnamed company which are searching for 3D modelers, designers and programmers to work on "the latest entry in a famous fantasy RPG series." for Xbox 360.

Conveniently, this company resides in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo and even more specifically, in the Oimachi area, which is where tri-Ace's main offices are located. Hmm... let's put the pieces together, a famous RPG series and tri-Ace? Yeah, sounds like Star Ocean.

...PLEASE let it only be a coincidence. I wouldn't mind SO4 being on PS3, as there actually ARE a few other games that I'd like on that system. And I suppose bringing the series back to its roots on a Nintendo system would be out of the question as far as Squeenix is concerned.

They do. Square Enix brought Final Fantasy XI to the 360 and they announced Last Remnant awhile back, as well as Infinite Undiscovery.
