Simple Question for playing first time psx on psp gamer.

Running m33 5.00-6

When playing an psx .iso, should I go into recovery mode and change kernel from 5.xx to 1.5 and change to Sony NO UMD mode before playing? Do I have to and why?

PSX games need to be in a EBoot format, use an App like PSX2PSP1.4 to convert it, then you need to set up the popsloader for maximum compatibility.

no need to chnge kernel mode or UMD settings.
