It's a great promotion from THQ's part since I feel that Metro 2033 was overlooked as far as good games go. Gives more people an opportunity to experience it and possibly purchase the upcoming Metro: Last Light (coincidentally they also released a trailer for the new game in a newsletter that you sign-up for when you get the free game - unless you unchecked that box when getting the code).

Nice, hopefully this entices more people to buy Last Light when it comes out. The original ranks among my favorite games on PC, had a very unique atmosphere.
