PC Steam Store major update (and friend list fix + UI)

As you all notice the steam community pretty much crash into a reset.

Well there new steam UI out that fixes these problems and add a new store,community and friendlist features.

Only problem is you must re-add everyone.

To get the new steam UI.
Go to Settings - Beta - Steam UI.
It will ask you to restart.

Correction, an unrelated update caused people's Steam friends lists to be wiped and a fix has been found but, to my knowledge, has not been released yet.

I just started checking it out... Love it so far.

It's about time they switched the browser to Webkit. That alone makes it worth it.

I went back using the old UI.

Every digtal game I had didn't work on the new UI.
(it would take me to the store front page of the game)

Be aware some games are not playing well with the new UI, some games like MW2 have to download 'updates' that rival the actual game in size.

I haven't tried it yet, i'll probably wait for a stable release. It looks cleaner, but i'm unsure if i'll prefer it over the current Steam look. Steam's interface does it's job well with little mess.

Friend list is back online.

I really don't like the new UI crashes every 30mins on win 7. (same with few my steam friends)

I'm on 7 and my UI hasn't crashed once.

I absolutely love it. The browser is so much more responsive now.

Ehh. The new UI looks great, but I really would rather just wait for a second revision.
