Textbooks?

Hey MforMature, its been awhile. Does anyone here know the cheapest method of obtaining textbooks? I'm considering buying an iPad for textbooks, but not sure if it would be any cheaper than buying them used on eBay. Point and case, does anyone know where I can download textbooks for free or low price? Thanks

Check around the torrent sites, I found a few of my textbooks and solution manuals.

I rarely see textbooks for my courses available in eBook format. Most are hardcopy only.

When I was in school, I bought all of my books used after my first year. It's such a fucking racket, the whole industry. Dropping $100 on a book to use for one class and then selling it for $30 in near mint condition.

Yeah, on average I shell out around $200 for books each semester. I buy used, too. It's ridiculous.

Shelled out 600 this semester on books alone...will only be able to get around 30 bucks for them selling them back. I would not advise getting any form of e-reader to view your textbooks on, it's really hard to find the proper textbooks in ebook format (read: nearly impossible). I would suggest just buying them off amazon

I buy books off of the pavement. Book piracy is quite rampant for college books.

I rent most of the books for about 40-50 bucks for a term then just return them.

Also do not go the ipad way, your eyes will burn by the end of the term.
