Timemachine CRISIS!

Hi, I'm z7shaft
I decided to finally convert my 1gb Memory Stick and my PSP-1001 battery into pandora, then despertar del cementerio v3, then TIMEMACHINE, and I'm enjoying it!

I have successfully installed 1.50 Firmware, 1.50 with 3.40 Hardware Modules,
and 3.60 from PSAR.
But I get this weird problem when installing 3.40 OE.
Everything goes fine, then it freezes at extracting/writting visualizer_plugin.rco, and nothing else happens, after a while the psp shuts off itself...

So, anyone knows why this happens?
I have a lot of free space in the MS, it is an original Sandisk 1gb (It even says Magicgate Supported) also everything was properly done, since Despertar del cementerio v3 loads fine with DigitalUp, 1.50 loads fine with X, 1.50fw3.40hw loads fine with O, but 3.40 wont install...

Maybe the 340.PBP you downloaded was corrupted? I'd try re-downloading it.
 
Oh BTW, please don't post the same questions twice, is takes up space and brings inconvenient to people who wants to help you. :D

I am in 3.80 m33-5
I have a Sandisk original 1gb stick (its original because in XMB it says magicgate supported) as the Magic MS
And I use DCV3... because it was the one the ultimate pandora installer could put in my psp.
I was really REALLY bored to use my own CFW psp to create the files. but thats not the point! hehe

Its weird how every 3.40 eboot I try keeps crashing the psp, in the exact point "Reading/Writting Visualizer_plugin.rco"
and I have tried it from a lot of different sources...

Ah, so you've used UPMS?
TimeMachine doesn't really work with UMPS (personally tried it myself), unless there's a new update for it. (There are other files in which the UPMS installed, like the menu to let you choose you want extented menu, DCv3, etc)

So if you want time machine, it's better if you don't use the UPMS.

I said an ultimate pandora installer (a.K.a previously made files??? the thing that you use when you dont have any CFW psp near you?)

Time machine installs and works perfectly 3.60, 1.50, 1.50(3.40hw) but I cant even install 3.40 because a weird error. I have tried 4 different 3.40 PBPs, and 2 different brand memory sticks, but always the result is failure.

There is other people getting that, but I think its like 5% of the timemachine users.

Again, I didnt used UPMS, I used something called "Ultimate Pandora" which writes via usb to your psp all the pandora files previously created (yes I know thats sort of illegal...)

Ahh my bad there. I'm sorry.

I've never seen the files of the UP, maybe some stuff are only compatible to certain PSP. I think it's better then if you format your Memory stick and then follow the steps slowly. It takes about 8 minutes for the whole process.
 
Do you have a slim? I thought Time Machine for the slim only supported 150_340 and 360 M33..and 340Oe-A was for Phat only..

Use Pbp Unpacker and Psardumper to verify the file is even in the 340.pbp you have..

Edit: I though Alex had stated that the files are compatable across different PSP's? If that's the case get the files for 340-OEA and run those..(from another TM user) The TM ipl was created anyway,it just didn't finish and give you the tmctrl.prx and such..Although I may be wrong..usually am when it comes to this stuff.
