Many gamers reacted with shock and disbelief when Ubisoft released the official minimum system requirements for the upcoming PC edition of Assassin's Creed. Ubisoft has since toned down some of the requirements, now suggesting 1GB RAM for computers running Windows XP and 2GB for Vista, as well as 8GB of hard drive space as opposed to 12GB.
