PSP My friend's PSP bricked...please help

That Guy I Am
My friend bricked his PSP trying to use pandora. He didn't realise he had a TA-088V3 and we can't find any article saying the pandora unbricker will work. We don't want to mess anything up more so we'd like some information before we proceed.

I still really don't understand how he managed to launch pandora in the first place. The TA-088V3 blocks it from launching, so he must have fucked it up doing something else.

He probably tryed to use the Pandora Battery as a normal one, so since the Pandora's Battery doesn't boot the flash firmware natively, the user thinks he has a brick.

If a regular battery doesn't work, and you've fried your PSP, if you've purchased it in under a year brand new, you could easily return it to Sony under the pre tense that a younger brother, sister, or parent, decided to turn off the PSP half way through a firmware upgrade and you'll probably get a refurbed on for free.

I have no TimeMachine on most of my MagicSticks too. In fact I am NOT an avid user fo DC7 to mod people's PSPs.

The pretense remark is NOT funny.

The only way you can brick PSP3000 is by running OFFICIAL FIRMWARE Update and then turning it off during the process!

It will never run unassigned codes...and it doesn't boot in Pandora to run any CFW installer!

If its really a FULL (no Semi here!) Brick... there's nothing you can do to revive it...but you can always ask your $0nY Service Center :D

Why the dollar sign? You do realise they're losing money to provide you with an affordable PS3 console, right?

Had you also noticed the 0 [zero] sign after the $ [dollar] ?

The dollar sign shows that Sony wants your money. Alot of people use a dollar sign to represent this instead of an S.

Also, every business wants your money, and in turn wants to make money. That is how a business works. Adding in a $ sign makes you look ignorant and your posts nothing more then troll fodder.

I'm not condoning it. Just letting you know what it represents.

So how does putting a $ makes someone ignorant ?
So spelling SONY correctly makes you more intelligent ?

I just like putting a $ in Sony (huh! look Ma! i'm a GENIUS!)because PSP Repair is my bread and butter :D

Yes, it does, because it shows you can actually spell a company's name properly. There's no real need to put a dollar sign in there. I'm an up-and-coming game developer, should I then write Gam
