wait, i may sound dumb for this, but you can have custom 360 wallpapers? how do i do it?
I think i remember hearing about this somewhere, but never got around to trying...

found it i think that should work
Custom 360 Wallpaper
Pretty much it says:
Put the picture on a portable device (ie a flash drive or PSP) and plug it in to your 360. Go to Media, and locate the Pictures folder or w/e. Press X over the picture and select Yes.
That should do the trick. I'll test it out later to be sure.

I think that should work for non-widescreen tvs (I've been told that it must be that size, but it should work fine on a non-widescreen tv)
