im a fan of final fantasy.. and i cant wait till dissidia and crisis core will come out.. but, what firmware do you think it would run in..

Knowing Squeenix, which doesn't seem to worry about piracy 'n' such too much, probably 3.51. Possibly 3.60, but only if the games come out next year after March or so. I'm not 100% on release dates, especially far off ones, so sorry for the non-specificity.
