In news that should surprise no-one, Sony Home director Peter Edward has said that users who repeatedly abuse the upcoming Home service face having their PlayStation 3 console blacklisted and permanently disabled from any future online use.

LOL. This whole "blacklist the entire console" is just a way for Sony to make up the money they're losing on the PS3. Read: "...move house and buy a new PS3..."

Though isn't Micro$oft doing the same thing with the 360? I know they do it to modded 360s but they have a good reason for that.

I think this is good for sony and i fully support it. I dont want to get harrased by stupid people. This way they lay down the law and keep that stuff under controll. I cant tell you how many messages i get from people after i beat them in hockey from xbox live. I mean you can block them but id like to see people who do that stuff loose the priveledge that i have by being respectful.
