Hey there all,
I'm just a bit confused with this new PSP Slim (which is 3.6)

Just so I get this straight.

I need to make a pandoras battery
http://forums.exophase.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2884&d=1188430890

This guide says I need a SECOND battery but other threads say you dont. Which is it?

I should then install

3.6-M33
http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=3462
Which I need the Pandoras battery.

I should THEN install

3.71-M33
http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=3662

Followed by the
m33-4 update

Followed by the Popsloader bugfix
http://pspslimhacks.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/popsloader_bugfix.zip

Is there ANYTHING I missed out?

If I leave the Pandoras battery as it is, is it fine? I mean, use it for gaming? Or do I need to convert it back?

When I install 3.71 and the updates, do I need a pandoras battery?

Funny thing is I used to help people out with PSP Fatty but you leave the seen for a bit and you're back to Noob status.

Actually it would be better if you made your Pandora battery and magic stick with this guide HERE. (Note that you'll need a phat PSP battery and a homebrew-compatible PSP to make it)

The pandora's box installer only works for old versions of "Pandora", meaning that it can only downgrade phat PSP to 1.5

As for the link i gave you, after you've made the battery and stick, it directly flashes to 3.71M33-2, then you'll need to update to 3.71M33-4. Popsloader it optional, only needed if you play PSX games.

and the pandora battery, if you are going to use it for future gaming, then you'll need to convert it back.

You don't need a second battery, you can put it back to normal after doing everything you need to do.But you need a Fat battery to make a Pandora's battery.

Good thing I have my PSP Fatty then.

So I need to use my Old PSP to make a Pandoras battery. I can already play homebrew on it so I guess it's fine. It must be a custom 2.3 or something like that.

So I use my old PSP, make the battery, use that battery on my psp slim and it'll automatically install 3.71m33-2

Finally I take my old psp battery and restore it

and all through that guide you showed me.

Stupidity to the MAX
I'd like to advise you to check what custom firmware you have on your phat psp before making the pandora battery and magic stick. To make sure it works 100% and proper you should at least have 3.52 m33-4 on your phat psp.
