My question is can a PSP Slim with 3.90M33-2 be downgraded to something like 3.40 OE
If so how would I go about downgrading it ?

No, not possible... only firmware 3.60 and up can be installed on a Slim unit.

are you thinking of going for backward play?like playing certain psx games on that fw that worked?if so theres always popsloader..

but then again..my opion might have not satisfied your hunger :biggrin:
