Hi I'm having issues with 4.01 M33
I cant seem to get my psp into recovery mode (holding right shoulder does nothing)
and also it wont read the iso folder in the root folder.
I read somewhere that if i installed the 1.50 kernal upgrade it might help, but it just comes up with the error 80020148.
Everything worked fine before i upgraded to 4.01 M33
by the way i also cant upgrade to 4.01 m33-2 for the same reasons!!

Please will somebody help me

The 1.5 kernel won't help, as it does not affect ISO compatibility. Sounds like your memory stick is corrupted, have you tried formatting it?

Easy, sorry for late reply issues with internet connection!!
Seems 4.01 m33 has no recovery mode enabled?!?!
Anyway i reverted to 3.90 m33-3 as less hassle:biggrin:
Everything working the way it should!
Might try again when i know i can achieve it!!

Thanks for helping!!

Recovery mode works on 4.01 M33 for me as well. Maybe you weren't fully shutting the PSP down? As you probably already know, recovery can't be accessed if you are booting the PSP from sleep mode.

Hi thanks for feedback,
Yes i know about the sleep mode thing,
I've probably unpacked it wrong or something.
That wasn't the only issue i had with it...
my iso folder was missing and when i added it it didn't read it.
And when i ran other programs that i put on there it said the copyright protection was invalid, yet i know for fact that it works because i've had it running sweet :confused1:
Also it wouldn't let me update to m33-2 saying some error code, that i didn't write down.
So all in all a bit of a disaster!!

Anyway i'll read up a bit more then attempt it again:laugh:

Easy! Just to say I've managed it now, don't quite know what my issue was, probably reading it wrong.
Nevermind I'm there now
