On his official blog, community manager Robert "402" Bowling recently revealed that Infinity Ward has been hard at work on an all-new project following its contract renewal with publisher Activision. That's not all though, as IW is also in the planning stages of development on a unique IP, one that the studio will have "complete control over" according to Bowling himself:[blockquote2]The recently renegotiated deal may not seem like much of an impact from the outside perspective, but it has laid the ground work and kick started our future project, as well as the possibility of a unique new IP by Infinity Ward, that we’ll have complete control over.[/blockquote2]He isn't dropping any details yet, of course. But still, the possibility of a new IP from Infinity Ward is enough to get us excited.
