Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that it will begin selling off PSN titles on physical UMD media later this October, presumably to coincide with the launch of PSP-3000. Initially, the games will be sold in two three-part PlayStation Network bundle collections. First is the Puzzle Pack, which includes Lemmings, Go! Sudoku, and Go! Puzzle. The Power Pack on the other hand consists of previously released downloadable hits flOw, Beats, and Syphon Filter: Combat Ops.
No word on pricing yet or if SCEA plans on bringing these compilations over to the states. Honestly seems like an odd move, especially with the direct PSP store hitting later this fall. Regardless, though, this is excellent news for those who prefer hard copies of their games.
