HI can anyone tell me if a fat PSP with OFW 3.52 be downgrade then upgrade so my

friend can play homebrew ???

No. It cannot. You must have a Pandora Battery and MagicMemoryStick.

OFW 3.51 and later cannot be just downgraded. You need a Pandora Battery and MagicMemoryStick to downgrade the PSP on those firmwares.

Do you have a friend/sibling/cousin/someone who has a hacked PSP Phat? (Phats can make the Pandora Battery.)

So make the Pandora Battery and MagicMemoryStick.

Then do the following on the fat PSP ofw 3.52 and at the end it wil be 4.01 M33-2 is that right..???

1. While holding UP on the directional pad, boot the PSP with a magic memory stick and the Pandora Battery inserted.

2. You will be presented with a menu containing the following options:

Install 4.01 M33
Install 4.01 OFW
NAND operations
Hardware Info
Test M33
Shutdown
Reboot Device
Select "Install 4.01 M33" to begin the installation process.

3. Memory stick LED should begin flashing. Wait 2-5 minutes for the install to complete.

4. Now press X to complete the installation - it's imperative that you do this.

5. Boot up the PSP with a regular non-Pandora battery. You may be presented with a BSOD, but just press X or O to restore settings.

6. And that's it. You're now running 4.01 M33-2.

Exactly right. 3.52>4.01M33.

Btw the last exploit to be used was back on 3.50 with Lumines, Pandora been the way since then.

Its not the firmware that is the factor, the motherboard is what counts. If you use dc7 every OFW can be switched to CFW.

The TA-088v3 Mobo though cannot be switched at the current time.
