Upgrading from 5.00 M33-6... where do I go from here?

I have two PSP's (One fat, and one Slim) and both of them have Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-6. I want to upgrade to the latest firmware, but I am unsure which firmware options there are now. Where do I go from here?

yes, you will have to use a pandora battery or Hellcats recovery flasher to downgrade back to 5.00M33-6

Recovery Flasher sometimes fails on 5.50 kernel (GEN-B core) Watch out!

why he would downgrade from 5.50 gen b to m33, if that is the newest cfw available?
Considering M33 is at a dead end, right?
