I'd rather not have to buy another DS, AND another flashcart.

Yep, though none of the flashcarts are able to run things in DSi mode at the moment. Running in DSi mode is required to take advantage of the extra resources.

It's similar to the GameCube mode on Wii, legacy DS games run under a different environment. I'm sure someone will figure out how to run code through DSi mode in due time though. A lot of hackers are holding out for the US launch.

I know, but I've already spent $150 for a DS lite, and $150+ on Flash carts. If I could maybe buy a DSi, and use one of the many SD cards I have, it would be pretty cool. And the only way I bite.
