I have a PSP which when switched on with a normal battery displays only a green light and nothing else, i thought a brick - Tried pandora and DC8 and same symptoms display green light and nothing else.

Also there is no activity with the MS i.e the orange light does not flash as usual. I Cannot enter recovery & Hellcats app also a no go.

I know my pandora set up is fine, IPL is in place as it should be. Im using the correct boot key, checked the config.txt as well.

PSP i am trying to sort is a Phat (all i know, no idea what FW it was running)

Any idea's at all, anything? as i am out of idea's now.

Thanks

Perhaps the screen is dead? Any sound from the speakers? The PSP could be totaled, could be a nice project. lol
First, check the screen, then check if the memory stick slot is damaged - (if the psp has been opened also)
If you know the internals off the psp rebuild it. perhaps its been dropped and something has fallen out off place.
Would be nice also if you told us how it happened :p

I do not know how it happenend, yeah going to try the screen, getting to the MS reader is time consuming

Watch this space

Will do - it isnt that long, what like 15 minutes and a million screws to get to the card reader.
If anything - salvage what you can :)

15 mins! You must be quicker than me :)

Sounds like the ole boot from memory stick thing, Did this to mine once, fixed it cant remember how, I think you need the ole firmware on the stick to boot then fix it. I would be hesitant to tear it apart, as I have experienced the same thing and fixed it.
