If I were to use a PSP phat with version 3.3 and go through the steps using Lumines to get 5.00m33-6 would that make my battery a pandora or my stick a mms? Thanks in advance for any replies.
 
No, you are using a downgrader method. 3.50<1.50>3.52M33>3,71m33>3.80m33>5.00M33.

Once you have CFW you can make the pandora (you could hardmod battery), you can make a MMS anytime using your PC (pandora deluxe) or when you have a CFW psp.
 
if you are updating your cfw then no
if your are using an explit or homebrew no you dont
if you want help on a pb and mms check the sticky!!!!!!
