Stick problem...

Dropped the PSP today because I was in a rush...now it wont read my mem card...all it does it blink about 2 times a second...and thats all doesnt read it or anthing...any have an idea for this...im pissed.

craaaapppppp....sounds like a hardware problem... :(
i'd say the psp didn't like being dropped....my ipod is like that sometimes when the harddrive gets knocked outta place and i have to open it and reinsert it... :S happened to me twice but for the psp,i wouldn't know....

i'd suggest trying reading the memory card in the computer seperately and seeing if its just the memory card...could be lucky and just have cracked the PCB board inside the MS....otherwise,it might have to be taken to a repair centre or back to the shop or something along those lines....
 
oh noez!

1. try diff ms in same psp
2. try same ms in pc ms reader
3. reinsert card
4. take apart psp and "jiggle" ms reader if its loose perhaps the tiniest bit of heat will reconnect it.

i'd really say take it to a repair centre or something now....


or...if you have the money,buy a brand new psp,switch the stickers and take it back... ;)

just an advice

before you do that trick.
do a little research about the
policy of the stores.

for example walmart stores here in Toronto will not refund an open box of PSP,
and they do scanner check if you exchange them. i think it's because there were
quite a lot of people returning their brick PSP. 0h wells, but good luck and i hope
you find a way dude.

you can if you want sell your PSP for parts or AS IS in EBay.
you might make it up to $75 but at least it's money towards a new PSP!:D

I dropped my psp also but got lucky and only the umd cover was a little warped and the edge of the screen a little warped to but not that noticable. Try the exchange trick and swapping stickers but be real careful with the stickers :o
 
Still broken, to caught up with work to try and call, been pulling a 65 hour a week.

Na moneys good...It just ended...I was cooking for Len, that Jewish holiday, all they do is like eat and sleep for 10 days, Meaning all I do is cook and sleep, and goddamn.....they can eat you dont even understand, I work at a hotel which we serve buffet lines, we had partys of over 450 "Jews" at one time, I was pulling like 13-18 hour days man. :-?

u can buy a new one now, it's cheaper. $169 i think.
since you've been pulling those hours, then the dinero should be over-flowing!:biggrin:
