Simple Question for playing first time psx on psp gamer.
Running m33 5.00-6
When playing an psx .iso, should I go into recovery mode and change kernel from 5.xx to 1.5 and change to Sony NO UMD mode before playing? Do I have to and why? Thanks! |

PSX games need to be in a EBoot format, use an App like PSX2PSP1.4 to convert it, then you need to set up the popsloader for maximum compatibility.
no need to chnge kernel mode or UMD settings. check my guide for links to a popsloader tut
