Formating Flash01

So i encountered a few problems on my psp that I feel like I wanna format flash01 and can fix it like that but first I wanted to make sure that there is little to no danger in doing that, like what do I have to do? Do i just go into recovery and use the Format flash01 and reset settings button? Do i need to back it up? Thx in advance
 
should be perfectly fine, all it does it restore factory setting and resetthe configuration.

what are the problems?
 
Error code 80020148. I think if I restore to factory settings then it will get rid of it.
I tried but it didnt work. Im going to format my mem stick next
 
80020148 - Unsupported PRX type | This error also seems to appear when you are running an iso with a fake mem. stick

is your memorystick magicgate supported?

also what eboot are you trying to run?

perhaps it needs the 150 kernal for it to run, if so, if your on a psp fat, get the 1.5k addon for your fw.

if your on a slim, use LEDA. note that these are for m33 firmwares only
 
Thanks. I managed to get in running. The fake memstick i think might have been because I made it a magic memstick awhile back and maybe just didnt have problems till now. Thx tho
 
THat error also occurs when trying to run a ISO, but have the worng driver selected
