Okay I sent my old psp to the manufacturers and their going to sending me a new psp. I should be getting it this wednesday. Anyone got any do's and donts because my last psp was fw 3.10 and i don't want that to happen again.

don't want what to happen? if it's downgrade forget it, there isn't any Downgrader in 3.10 or above!
 
this is what i would like to know. What would be the best thing to do with this new psp because i dont want to upgrade too high and not have a downgrade. I mean Should i get a Custom Firmware? Should I Get Homebrews? Emulators? All That Kinda Stuff. Also wanna know what i shouldn't do
 
if you get lucky and have 3.03 or less, then immediately downgrade and install custom FW.

If not , wait never upgrade to sony FW...
 
yes, i think your chances on getting 3.03> are pretty slim...expecially with FW 3.40 being released now...
 
You probanly will get a low firmware because I got my PSP back 2 weeks ago and it was 2.81
