An official announcement has just been posted over at Major Nelson's blog stating that the members of the Gears of War 2 online multiplayer community who have used a hack to unlock achievements for the game will start being banned. It isn't so much of a ban as it is a Wall of Shame and a gamerscore reset though. Players who have not cheated have nothing to worry about, but do have some more ammo to use when making fun of other players over Xbox LIVE.
