But I was committed after that birthday party...
I'm just deciding to get into the whole 'plugin' thing, which I never had the nerve/interest to mess with, but I read on HERE that there's a plugin to play MP3's in the XMB AND during gameplay- that would be totally badass. But I also realize that this guide was prolly written for 3.03OE-X and I was wondering if either there's a plugin that would allow me to do this, or if the same one works, and if so, how to install and get it runnin' 'n' such. I'm runnin 3.30OE-A but I'll upgrade to 3.40OE if that's what it takes, I mean, no reason not to, just don't have a reason TO.

well...Seeing that there ain't that many differences from 3.03 and 3.30... (at least in kernel level I supose...) it COULD work using the 3.03 way...try it xD worst case scenario you will have to disable it in recovery mode XP

Okay, well, couldja point me to the newb guide to plugins? Cuz I am a newb when it comes to 'em.

You need to make two files in X:/seplugins called vsh.txt and game.txt

then in both files you just type the path to the plugin. Like this:

ms0:/seplugins/mp3.prx

once that's done, boot up the Recovery Menu, go to plugins, and enable it.

Rockin', thanks. I'm pretty sure I can handle it now:thumbup:
